Together Dementia Support recently undertook a tech trial with a voice-controlled device for people with dementia who remain mostly at home and isolated from activities, family and friends.

The specific device was chosen because people can make a video call to the person. Together Dementia Support plan to use these devices to keep in regular contact with members whilst they cannot attend groups. The National Lottery funded the provision of the devices to members.
