We've updated our collated information sheet detailing training currently available for people affected by dementia in Greater Manchester, including people living with dementia, carers, and practitioners.

One of the key strategic aims in Dementia United’s Dementia and Brain Health Delivery Plan is to design, develop and facilitate education and training across all sectors. We know that training is required to support all practitioners to understand dementia and most effectively meet the needs of people affected by dementia.

This document is intended to help make practitioners and anyone affected by dementia aware of the variety of training options available across Greater Manchester. We’ve also included training resources on delirium, mild cognitive impairment, young onset dementia, and Lewy Body dementia.
