Come along to make sure your voice is heard
Given current circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Dementia United and Alzheimer’s Society Event will now happen in late spring/early summertime.
All partners involved in the planning of the event are keen to ensure everyone can stay safe whilst still having the chance to have the meeting in person later in the year.
The event is still being co-designed by people with lived experience. Please do get in touch if you would like to get involved – email: alice.thornton2@nhs.net or helen.pratt5@nhs.net call: 07521 868 370.
We’re working in partnership with a Lived Experience Steering Group and the Alzheimer’s Society, to plan an event for Greater Manchester. The event will be an opportunity for Andy Burnham, the Mayor of Greater Manchester, to acknowledge the impact the pandemic has had on people affected by dementia as well as to celebrate the successes and good work regarding dementia that have happened across Greater Manchester since 2017 and discuss what the priorities are for the future. The event will be held at a central Manchester venue (TBC)
Who can attend?
