- Masterclass with consultant neurologist Matthew Jones and neuropsychologist Jennifer Thompson from the Cerebral Function Unit, located in the Greater Manchester Neuroscience Centre at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust
- Hoping to recruit voluntary Cerebral Function Unit Link Workers
Who should attend: You’re welcome to attend this event and the post diagnostic event but priority for this diagnosis event will be given to those involved in making dementia diagnoses e.g. Psychiatrists, GPs, Memory Clinic Nurses, Psychologists
Post Diagnostic Support

- The Angela Project with Prof of Dementia Care Jan Oyebode, current Greater Manchester challenges and good practice and introduction to resources
- Hoping to recruit dementia advisers or equivalent to implement the Young Dementia UK tool to facilitate age appropriate conversations.
Who should attend: You’re welcome to attend this event and the diagnosis event but priority for the this post diagnostic event will be given to health, social care and voluntary sector staff providing support, advice and information to people with a (rare) dementia diagnosis under the age of 65
